In addition to our core facility and project management capabilities, our platform offers direct access to our Best-in-Class services including ESG, Security Consulting, Workplace Strategy, and Workplace Experience. **About the Role:** As a CBRE Steamfitter, you will be responsible for general preventive maintenance, repair, testing, installation, and troubleshooting of plumbing, mechanical and distribution systems throughout a facility. This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems. **What You’ll Do:** Responsible for operating, replacing, repairing and maintaining all domestic hot and cold-water systems. •Low, medium, and high-pressure steam and condensate distribution systems; hot water solar heating systems. •Stormwater systems; sanitary drainage systems, pumps, and fixtures (standard and security styles) according to specifications and plumbing codes. •Perform routine, preventive, and emergency maintenance and repairs including fixture replacement. •Perform general maintenance and building systems operational duties as assigned or directed. •Respond to emergency situations, summoning extra help as needed. •Follow all activity policies and procedures, always including all HSE-related requirements. •Complete all HSE programs & activities as required, including incident investigations, interviews, auditing, and assessment, etc. •Report any conditions that could result in an accident or injury to management. •Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions. •Coach others and share in-depth knowledge of own job discipline and broad knowledge of several job disciplines within the function. •Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Work to build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement. •Impact a range of customer, operational, project or service activities within own team and other related teams. •Work within broad guidelines and policies. •Explain difficult or sensitive information. **What You’ll Need:** •Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future. •High School diploma or GED completed vocational training, apprenticeship, with 8 years of commercial experience (four years as Journeyman). •Fully understands local mechanical codes, mechanical procedures, and specialized skills. •Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more. •Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information. •Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions. •In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. •Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset. The minimum salary for this position is $32.45/hr and the maximum salary for this position is $51.62/hr. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
