Roles and Responsibilities
'As the Unison FP&A leader you will:
Lead the Unison P&Ls in the timely planning and reporting cycles, facilitating and coordinating efforts across multiple teams to gather the required dataOwn the consolidation and analysis for financial aspects of Unison’s monthly operating review (MORs) and Finance Weekly Operating Review (WOR)Prepare and present weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including variance analysis and performance metrics. Identify & prioritize key processes to be built out / automated to facilitate financial transparency & simplified reportingBe responsible for Unison HQ’s planning, forecasting, and pacing during each quarter, leveraging data & operational expertise to determine and articulate material variances, risks & opportunitiesSupport the Unison CFO in the preparation of presentations and backup materials (MORs, WOR, Wrap Reviews, Budget, Strategy, ad-hoc) required to communicate the financial position to P&AT and GE Aerospace HQSolicit feedback on planning & reporting cycle performance on a regular basis and modify/streamline processes as neededEnsure accuracy of the organization's financial results by recognizing and preventing misrepresentation, concealment, or omission of informationMaintain systems & processes for analyzing and reporting operating results to managementDrive engagement & proactively engage with cross functional business teams to articulate financial positions & the impact of decisionsRequired Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting from an accredited university6+ years of experience4+ years of experience - FP&ADesired Characteristics
Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects.Proven track record of driving financial performanceEvidence of leveraging FLIGHT DECK to improve processesStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.Strong business acumen and strategic thinking capabilities.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. If applicable, final offers will be contingent on ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government.
