at every level within the organizationJob SummaryUnder the direction of a Registered Nurse or Unit Manager and as a member of a patient care team performs routine delegated tasks in supply equipment care and errands responding to basic patient safety comfort and requests These tasks contribute to meeting the daily needs of patients and the work area and are performed within all existing equipment and records throughout the facility to assist in facilitating safe and efficient workflowmiddot Collaborates with other team members to provide quality patient care by appropriately assisting and responding to patient and environmental needs and by doing any task that is necessary and appropriate to insure an effective work environmentQualificationsHigh school graduate or equivalent preferredDemonstrates an ability to read write and speak English perform basic arithmetic and follow instructionsDemonstrates effective communication skills appropriate to role
