Find your purpose as a Unit Assistant in the Behavioral Health unit at Rice Memorial Hospital!
The Unit Assistant functions as a communication link for the unit. In this position you will participate in the coordination of unit activity through the processing of physician orders, maintaining the patient's chart, and performing clerical and receptionist duties to support patient care staff to achieve the hospital’s mission of competent, holistic patient care. You would support and implement patient safety and other safety practices as appropriate, as well as demonstrating Family Centered Care principles when interacting with patients and their families and with co-workers.

32 hours every 2 weeks Monday-Friday 8AM-4:30PMPay and Benefits:

High School Diploma or GED required. Certification as National Health Unit Coordinator preferred.
