Essential Function/Responsibilities:
Demonstrates excellent customer service skills. Maintains a pleasant, courteous & professional when relating with physicians, patients/families and team members in the department. Utilizes proper telephone etiquette when making or receiving calls. Answers calls in a timely manner. Accurately transcribes the anesthesia, EV, OR, Cardiac team call schedules to daily call sheet. Provides Administrative Support for the Daily Activities of the Operating Rooms. Assists the Desk Charge RN in planning the day to day activities in the OR. Assists the Desk Charge RN to maximize the utilization of the daily OR schedule. Demonstrates awareness of procedure time estimates. Sends for patients as needed. phones promptly and courteously, consistently demonstrates positive phone etiquette and answers calls in a timely manner. Attend mandatory educational programs and annual in-services Maintains the electronic snap board. Enters patients into EPIC correctly. Assists with the coordination of Emergent/Urgent Cases per policy and procedures.Skills:
