Aspirus Rhinelander Hospital in Rhinelander, WI is seeking a UNIT CLERK- EMERGENCY to join our team!
The Unit Clerk assists the professional and paraprofessional staff and physicians by performing clerical duties and serves as receptionist for the patient care areas in a professional and caring manner.
HOURS: Full time or 0.8 FTE, 64 hours per two weeks pay period. Varied shifts.
Experience/Qualifications
Knowledge of patient care standards and general office practices normally acquired through completion of a high school diploma or equivalent, and courses in computer applications and medical terminology. Graduation from an accredited vocational technical adult education program for unit clerks (VTAE) or an approved unit clerk program, or training/education to meet job requirements.A minimum of six (6) hours of continuing educational units (CEUs) per year.Two years of experience as a unit clerk beneficial.CPR certification necessary.Annual competencies as required by Aspirus and/or various regulatory agencies based on entity and/or job position. Wisconsin state certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant necessary. CPR certification necessary. Knowledge of medical terminology and computer literacy beneficial.
