Overview Unit Clerk Monitor Technician, Telemetry Surveillance, Javon Bea Hospital - Riverside -Night Shift Hours (7:00P - 7:30A) -72 Hours / 2 weeks -Weekend and Holiday Rotation -This is an on-site position; This position is not remote. Reports all changes in rhythm to RN assigned to patient. Follows unit policy and procedure for accurately recording and documenting patient rhythm. Immediately alerts RN of a lethal arrhythmia. Records ongoing rhythm strips during emergency situations involving assigned patients. Provides complete shift report. Provides report to RN assigned to patient. Education and Experience High School Diploma or Equivalent Completion of a CNA program preferred Successfully pass EKG test prior to completion of orientation. Certifications/Licensure Current CNA certification in applicable state preferred Approved CPR or BLS certification is required within 90 days Special Physical Demands The Special Physical Demands are considered Essential Job Functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodations. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, talk, hear, and use hands to handle, finger, or feel. The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, steep, kneel, crouch, crawl, taste, and smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 lbs. and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities include close vision, color vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
