The Unit Coordinator performs clerical and administrative duties in support of patient care providers, medical staff, patients, their significant others, blended and extended family members, and outside agencies.
Responsibilities
Promptly answers phones, relaying messages as appropriateCollaborates effectively with the unit charge nurse and/or care manager to identify bed needs and/or unit needsTranscribes orders in an accurate and timely manner in accordance with policies.Requirements/Qualifications
