Unit Coordinator

Department: Courtyard East – this unit at our Chelsea hospital cares for Medical-Surgical patients as well as Chronic Head Pain patients. This unit has 42 beds and specializes in surgical post-operative care, telemetry, stroke, chronic pain management and patient education.

Location: Chelsea, MI hospital

Minimum pay rate: $15.46/hr + based upon applicable on the job patient care experience

Position Purpose:

The Unit Coordinator/Secretary is responsible for a variety of activities involving clerical support, obtaining requested medical records by the medical team, and providing support to patients and staff in the unit 

Shifts Available: Monday-Friday 6pm-10pm and every other weekend 6am-6:30pm

Status Available: Part time, benefit eligible

Required Qualifications

Minimum of high school educationRecent unit secretary experience preferredMedical terminology preferred
