**Overview** Assists in the delivery of patient care and performance of established tasks and procedures under the supervision of a physically present and immediately available Registered Nurse/ OB Provider. We care about our employees well-being and offer benefits that complement work/life balance. **Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm** **Responsibilities** + Must be able to perform the following tasks efficiently: perform/record vital signs, CPR, assist provider with treatment when appropriate, clean medical equipment and prepare for sterilization, collect urine specimens, and phlebotomy + Assists in making observations, gathering data, and identifying patient care needs + Assists with patient transports and transfers + Answer telephones, filing, greet patients/visitors, transcribe provider’s orders, electronic data entry, and assist with documentation + Assists with cleaning, stocking, and maintenance of department equipment and supplies + Practices safe work habits, compliance with safety rules and regulations, and adheres to safety policies + Utilizes resources appropriately and follows facility guidelines, policies, and procedures **Qualifications** **Required Licensure and Certifications** + **Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) by the ND Department of Health,** **mandatory.** + **Certification for Basic Life Support (BLS)** **Required Education for Staff Job Levels** + **High School Diploma or GED** **Required Minimum Experience** + **No experience required** **Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities** + Strong oral communications skills + Ability to deal with conflict and difficult people + Strong critical thinking skills + Knowledge of all regulatory agencies and their standards and processes + Ability to manage multiple priorities **PREFERRED Education and/or Experience** + **OB Unit CNA experience preferred** **Pay Range** $14.82 - $20.38 /hour We are an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
