Assists in the delivery of patient care and performance of established tasks and procedures under the supervision of a physically present and immediately available Registered Nurse/ OB Provider. Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
Responsibilities
Must be able to perform the following tasks efficiently: perform/record vital signs, CPR, assist provider with treatment when appropriate, clean medical equipment and prepare for sterilization, collect urine specimens, and phlebotomyAssists in making observations, gathering data, and identifying patient care needsAssists with patient transports and transfersAnswer telephones, filing, greet patients/visitors, transcribe provider’s orders, electronic data entry, and assist with documentationAssists with cleaning, stocking, and maintenance of department equipment and suppliesPractices safe work habits, compliance with safety rules and regulations, and adheres to safety policiesUtilizes resources appropriately and follows facility guidelines, policies, and procedures

Required Licensure and Certifications
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) by the ND Department of Health Certification for Basic Life Support (BLS)Required Education for Staff Job Levels
High School Diploma or GEDRequired Minimum Experience
