**Position Summary**
The Unit Line Operator will set up, operate, perform minor repairs, and adjust automated production machines on unit line to produce golf balls that meet established quality standards, by performing the following duties.
**Responsibilities**
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Maintains safe, clean, and orderly workplace per 3S standards.
+ Identify and resolve minor mechanical and quality problems.
+ Responsible for performing regular quality checks as per SOP.
+ Operates semi-automated production machinery as follows:
+ Grinders – set up and maintain quality checks.
+ Resin Blenders – load, troubleshoot alarms, and perform product changeovers.
+ Injection Molding – operate multiple injectors while maintaining quality standards.
+ Hot Stamp – troubleshoot, change tape/product, and stamp pads.
+ Paint Spray – add and change paint; clean and replace lines, rebuild and maintain spray guns and pumps.
+ Adjusts machinery to ensure continuous operation of all processes.
+ Performs visual and mechanical quality checks to ensure all production meets quality standards.
+ Makes necessary set-up on equipment for product or process changes.
+ Submits daily production, quality, and equipment reports.
+ Occasional S Line support.
+ Other duties may be assigned.

**EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE**
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one-year related experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
**LANGUAGE SKILLS**
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
**MATHEMATICAL SKILLS**
Ability to calculate figures using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
**REASONING ABILITY**
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
**OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES**
Requires strong mechanical aptitude.

**WORK ENVIRONMENT**
The work environment described here is representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this position, the employee may occasionally be exposed to paint fumes, heat, airborne particles, and toxic or caustic chemicals. Refer to SDS and SOP for specific requirements. The noise level in the work environment is normally loud. Steel/Composite toed shoes, eye and ear protection is company provided (within reason) and always worn in this area. The indoor temperature is a partially climate-controlled environment and can be seasonably hot or cold depending on the weather temperatures outside.
**Minimum Qualifications**
Typically requires a high school degree; or 1-2 year vocational training / associates degree
