The Unit Manager, in collaboration with the Director-Nursing Post-Acute Care, is responsible for and manages all clinical aspects of resident care, which includes, but is not limited to, supervising the professional nursing staff and the Resident Assistants and developing and maintaining department performance standards. Provides risk management direction and support to assure compliance with regulatory agencies. Develops and coordinates the specific resident care plans to meet health needs and to promote wellness. 

Incorporates Holzer health Systems into all aspects of community operations; this includes the vision, mission, and individual department standards and expectations. Requires and promotes teamwork in all aspects of the community’s operations and specifically in the provision of resident services.

· Graduate of approved school of practical nursing or equivalent.

· Active LPN license recognized by the Ohio Board of Nursing

· Experience providing direct nursing care to a senior population preferred

· At least one year of experience in a supervisory capacity.
