JOB SUMMARY

The primary role of Unit Partner is engaging members in all aspects of the unit and coordinating unit projects and activities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Consistently engages and involves members in all aspects of the unit, including activity and work planning and encourages members to assume leadership roles within the unit.

· Provides wide range of work opportunities to unit members and works side by side with members as colleagues.

· Maintains an organized work unit space and ensures that unit meetings happen on a regular basis.

· Responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly environment using universal precautions. Maintains inventory of necessary supplies.

· Assists members with all community living issues, such as negotiating with roommates, neighbors, landlords, housing authorities, legal system, life skills, banking and/or medication management.

· Demonstrates an adherence to the Clubhouse philosophy/model in their daily conduct.

· Maintain confidentiality of client’s care.

· Participate in scheduled program meetings.

· Other relevant duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

· High School Diploma or GED required.

· Valid CA driver’s license and current auto insurance per contract requirements.

· Cultural Competency understanding required.

· Bilingual preferred.
