The Unit Clerk is Responsible for telephone communications, filing, copying, unit organization, directing of visitors and patients, assisting physicians with consults and other clerical needs and other clerical needs as directed by Charge Nurse or Nurse Manager. Job Details Requirements: High School Diploma required Associates preferred Working knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel, Database and Power Point Prior customer service and telephone experience preferred Ability to work in a stressful environment Excellent organizational and follow through abilities Ability to read, write and comprehend medical terminology Able to walk distances for pick-up and delivery of medications or supplies and transport patients BLS or CPR/AED training required and accepted from only 2 organizations American Heart Association - BLS for Healthcare Providers (CPR & AED) Program, No online programs from any organization will be accepted Salary Range USD $20.87 - USD $26.09 /Hr. This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
