Job Description
Overview:
This role is based at our headquarters in the West Loop of Chicago, with easy access to Union and Ogilvie train stations. Reporting to the Internship Program and University Relations Manager, the Intern Program & University Relations Specialist will perform a variety of activities in support of the company’s campus recruitment strategy for interns and new graduates. This role is hybrid.
Responsibilities & Duties:
Provide support to the Internship Program and University Relations Manager to design and develop communications, presentations, and document processes for both the internship program and university relations
Manage program and recruitment data to accurately provide tracking/metrics assisting to tell the program’s story
Manage centralized program inbox to assist students, employees, and stakeholders with questions and concerns arising throughout all phases of the internship program and university relations
Provide auditing through the recruitment cycle to ensure compliance standards are met
Organizing, syncing, managing, and performing internship program activities, such as orientation, in addition to both on-campus and off-campus events.
Effectively oversee intern and campus program costs to ensure that expenditures are within the allotted budget.
Conduct internship program evaluations with the intent to improve the overall internship program
Serve as the main point of contact for any questions or issues related to interns, as well as our on-campus and outside organization partners.
Track on-campus and off-campus events
Coordinate and attend job fairs and other on-campus and off-campus events
Research, identify, develop and maintain relationships with career service representatives, diverse on-campus student groups, faculty, and other key stakeholders keeping diversity and inclusion top of mind
Plan and execute campus events for recruitment and relationship building (i.e., information sessions, resume review, mock interviewing, etc.)
Assist with compiling the year-end results summary to HR leadership
Assist with registering employees for events, coaching attendees, and distributing event materials events
Update and manage career fair and events tracker on the internal campus recruiting landing page
Identify opportunities to engage prospective students
Performs miscellaneous job-related duties and projects as assigned
Skills & Qualifications:
Strong attention to detail; extremely organized
Excellent presentation skills. Must be comfortable speaking and presenting to large groups and senior leaders
Excellent communication and relationship management skills
Ability to work independently and with a team
Ability to plan and organize effectively
Ability to make sound recommendations
Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding, and rapidly changing environment
Able to work in a high-volume environment and prioritize work as appropriate
Knowledge of Google and Microsoft applications.

Basic Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required
1+ year of work experience, preferably in university relations or internship/university program coordinator
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position.
