Description

We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic University Relations Program Manager to join our Talent Acquisition team. The University Relations Program Manager will be responsible for developing and executing the university relations recruitment strategies and programs to attract and engage top-tier talent from U.S.- and Canada-based universities and colleges. This role involves building strong relationships with academic institutions, developing and implementing programs designed to engage students, and promoting Skyworks as an employer of choice.

Responsibilities

Engage as a Campus Ambassador and primary point of contact for career services, student and diversity organizations, faculty, candidates, and other appropriate groups at target universities.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement programs and initiatives to engage students across the region over the course of their internship / co-op experience.

Partner with hiring managers, HR Consultants and business leaders to educate, influence and drive annual intern and co-op conversion efforts.

Plan, organize, and participate in campus recruitment events such as career fairs, information sessions, and on-campus interviews.

Actively engage with students through various channels, including social media, campus events, and networking opportunities.

Develop creative ways to increase the company’s brand and profile on campus through partnership/collaboration with various professional, community and student organizations.

Monitor and analyze recruitment metrics to assess the effectiveness of campus recruitment strategies and make data-driven improvements.

Source and build candidate/student pipelines for technical and non-technical roles.

Conduct initial screenings and interviews to identify and evaluate potential candidates, ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.

Ensure timely and accurate communication of offers to selected candidates for intern and co-op positions.

Required Experience and Skills

Bachelor’s Degree: A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.

Minimum 8 years relevant experience of which 3 to 5 years will have been spent in university relations recruitment.

Knowledge of current trends and best practices in university relations and talent acquisition

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and build relationships with diverse groups of people.

Experience with campus recruiting software.

Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.

Results-oriented with a high degree of personal initiative, be very hands on, flexible and have a customer centric attitude.

A proactive and approachable demeanor, with the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.

Willingness to travel to campuses and recruitment events as needed.

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is currently USD $89,100 - $172,100 per year. Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different base pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S. Benefits include access to healthcare benefits (including a premium-free medical plan option), a 401(k) plan and company match, an employee stock purchase plan, paid time off (including vacation, sick/wellness, parental leave), among others. Employees are eligible to participate in an incentive plan, and certain roles are also eligible for additional awards, including recognition and stock.
