University Relations Program Manager (Grant Writing)
**JOB SUMMARY** The University Relations Program Manager is responsible for the relationship and activities with an assigned portfolio of colleges and/or universities. He/she develops and manages UR communities, coordinates campus engagement activities, and the day-to-day relationship for assigned schools. Additionally, the UR Program Manager partners closely their peers in Talent Acquisition and Workforce Development to create a strong pipeline of talent into the organization. **ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLE** Provides oversight of all college/university relationships to ensure alignment with and understanding of key HR strategies. Assists in the strategic design of functional area programs to support attraction, retention and motivation of a high quality and high performing workforce. Manages HR initiatives and functional area projects including program changes, ongoing education efforts, operations and vendor transitions to ensure employee understanding, smooth transitions and efficient and effective day-to-day operations. Facilitates integration and transition in merger and divestiture partnerships. Identifies cost-effective solutions to actively manage the programs delivered to employees to provide the most value for the dollars spent. Consults with all levels of organization on business and employee needs in order to support strategic business objectives. Evaluates processes and procedures to identify opportunities for process improvement. **KEY SUCCESS FACTORS** Knowledge of business foundations, including strategy, finance, operations, product and project management. Proven track record of people, projects and process management. Strong communications skills, both verbal and written. Strong presentation skills. Experience managing client relationships and being a trusted advisor to clients. Experience presenting to client decision-makers, including executives. Ability to scope and create detailed project plans. Understanding of multiple methodologies and related implementation considerations. Ability to work with technical resources to determine technical activities required to deliver business vision. Track record of creativity, out-of-the-box thinking and taking initiative.
