Our mission is described simply as: "A Relentless Pursuit of Excellence.” The company has become renowned for its collaboration with owners of the air-cooled Porsche 911 in pursuit of bespoke restorations. **UPD Co-Ordinator** **UPD Co-Ordinator Responsibilities -** · Schedule and control the supply of materials and components to meet the build plan requirements – starting with internal processing, through to external supply routes. · Manage stock levels of donor parts, assessing and monitoring the volume requirements against planning assumptions and agreed targets. · Interpret the master schedule to create material demand of child parts and plan material supply to support the refurbishment process of parts. · Implement all processes to agreed standards and targets, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and identifying areas of improvement. · Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to forecast, plan, and facilitate refurbished materials to the build schedule efficiently as and when required. · Create and issue forecasts to suppliers for all child parts, as well as developing good relationships with suppliers to ensure demand for materials is made and deliveries made on time. · Inspecting materials quality to ensure consistency and integrity · Questioning the nature of defects while providing future solutions · Alerting the Quality Assurance department of identified quality concerns · Filling out and maintaining proper paperwork – including rejection notes for materials that do not meet quality standards · Complying with all standards, internal policies and legal regulations that apply to the finished product **The ideal UPD Co Ordinator will have experience in:** · A good understanding of supply chain management or expert knowledge of a specialist area · Knowledge and understanding of manufacturing and automotive processes and components would be an advantage · Knowledge and experience of using MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems or similar · Knowledge or experience working with upcycled automotive parts would be an advantage · Must have great attention to detail. · Reliable and punctual · Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills · Be comfortable taking a hands-on approach to fully understand the UPD requirements and parts **Benefits** Singer employees enjoy generous paid time off, low-cost health insurance, a 401(k) plan with a company match, life and AD&D insurance, long-term and short-term disability, Snap-On tools for our techs, and continuous opportunities for learning and advancement within the company. **Equal Employment Opportunity** We are committed to building a team that includes individuals from different cultural backgrounds, ethnicities, genders, ages, sexual orientation, and physical abilities, reflecting the diversity of the communities where we work and live.    Department: Supply Chain This is a non-management position This is a full-time position
