Sales Manager, West Region

Your role and responsibilities

Lead a Texas sub region commercially by collaborating with authorized Channel partners and ABB resources to deliver ABB solutions that satisfy customer needs thereby growing total sales and market share in the region Strategy: Responsible for creating, planning and implementing the sales mission, vision and strategy for the Oil market in Texas.Targets: Agrees with the Oil and Gas sales Manager key sales targets (e.g. volume, prices, portfolio mix) and establishes appropriate metrics. Builds a direct pipeline of accounts and additional integratorsSales activities: Responsible for achieving assigned order intake, margin and related objectives for the entire instrumentation product portfolio in Oil and GasCustomer relations and satisfaction: Develops relationships with key stake holders. Responsible for planning and implementing customer surveys, analyzing and acting on the results in order to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

Qualifications for the role

Associates Degree in technology and minimum 4 years experience in instrumentation sales through direct and or indirect channel partners or distributionObsessive focus on end users, their wants and needs, their goals and objectives, how they buy, how they maintain their equipment, how they partner with suppliersAbility to develop relationships at all levels in ABB, our channel partners and our end users (from field personnel to corner office) Solid understanding of instrumentation, level technology and marketsAbility to develop and implement structured sales processes and strategies that improve efficiency and lead to winningIntense competitor knowledge; Passion for selling and winningOvernight travel is estimated to be up to 50 to 75 nights per year depending on territory. Overnight travel includes travel to regions, factories, channel partner locations, customer locations, trade shows, sales meetings and industry conferencesCandidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
