Uranium Lab Technician
**Ready to geek out in the lab while contributing to something BIG?** As a **Lab Technician** in our uranium in-situ recovery operation, you'll be the behind-the-scenes hero ensuring that our wellfield operations run smoothly. With your sharp eye for detail and love for precision, you’ll perform both physical and chemical testing on samples that drive process control and environmental monitoring. If you love working in a lab, solving puzzles with data, and learning new skills, this job’s got your name written all over it. **What will you do?** + **Start your day like a pro** – setting up lab instruments, checking equipment, and getting ready for daily sample analysis (think mad scientist but with a much cleaner workspace!). + **Test, test, test!** – You’ll analyze solid and liquid samples for pH, chloride, conductivity, and more. Bonus: some samples might even be radioactive! + **Master the art of dilution** – Whether it’s pipetting or weighing, your careful calculations will ensure every drop is just right. + **Spectrometer wizardry** – You’ll operate an ICP-OES Spectrometer to pinpoint the exact concentrations of target analytes. + **Stay sharp on quality control** – Work with duplicates, matrix spikes, and laboratory control samples to guarantee the highest level of accuracy. + **Document like a boss** – Track all your results, work through basic algebraic equations, and input your data into Excel. + **Be a solo artist… or a team player** – Sometimes you’ll fly solo; other times, you’ll team up to tackle bigger projects. **What we need from you:** + A high school diploma (Post-secondary science courses? Even better!) + A love for precision and organization—being detail-oriented is your superpower. + The ability to learn on the fly and a hunger to continually refine your lab skills. + You’ll need to lift up to 50 lbs and spend some time standing (lab work can be hands-on, after all). + Flexibility to work 10-hour days, with the potential for weekend shifts. Don't worry, transportation might be available to make life easier! **Why you’ll love it:** + **Make an impact** – Your work will directly contribute to the success of Wyoming’s uranium production and environmental safety. + **Learn on the job** – You don’t need tons of experience; we’re excited to train you and help you grow. + **Lab life, but exciting** – It’s the thrill of discovery without the endless beakers and Bunsen burners from chemistry class. + **Work with cool tech** – You’ll get hands-on experience with advanced equipment like the ICP-OES Spectrometer. If you’re ready to turn your curiosity and precision into an exciting role in uranium operations, apply today and start your next adventure in the lab!
