URBN is searching for a Talent Analyst. The Talent Analyst is a role in the Human Resources department at URBN and will contribute to HR research within the Talent Analytics function. The Talent Analytics function provides reporting, analysis, and insights to teams to support business needs, inform business decisions, and improve the overall employee experience at URBN.

Role Responsibilities

• Work with the HR team to design and implement new studies, analyze data, and report on results of talent and HR processes and initiatives.
• Extract and analyze data from multiple sources; automate reporting where possible through scheduling or self-service dashboards
• Design, analyze and report on employee surveys; administer all surveys and reports in Employee Voice survey tool
• Liaise with cross-functional partners on employee survey timeline and communications
• Create presentation decks and reports using Excel, PowerPoint, BI systems, Qlik, and other data visualization tools
• Resolve tickets and provide excellent customer service through an HRSD (HR Service Delivery)
• Ensure accuracy and quality review of all products/reports (copy/editing, system checks)
• Research workforce trends for benchmarking
• Maintain process documentation within the Talent Analytics function (SOPs, report libraries).

Role Qualifications

• Education and/or 2-3 years of experience working in research/data analysis, HR support; experience working in retail preferred
• Unquestionable business and personal integrity; ability to handle confidential data
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
• Experience with relational databases preferred, e.g., SQL, Qlik, Cognos
• Experience with survey tools like Perceptions/Employee Voice, SurveyMonkey, Qualtrics, etc.
• Knowledge of analytic techniques and methods; experience with mixed methods research (quantitative as well as qualitative thematic analysis)
• Strong service orientation and social interaction skills
• Enthusiastic team player with an inclusive approach to their work
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adaptive to changing priorities
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• High detail orientation
