URBN is looing for a highly motivated and experienced Supply Chain Transportation Supervisor to oversee and optimize our transportation operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics, excellent leadership skills, and a keen eye for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Role Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily transportation operations, including scheduling, routing, and tracking of shipments for inbound and outbound freight.Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations and company policies.Monitor and analyze transportation costs and implement strategies to reduce expenses and improve efficiency.Maintain strong relationships and provide effective communication with carriers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.Oversee the performance of transportation team members, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service levels and reduce costs.Ensure timely and accurate reporting of transportation metrics and KPIs weekly. Resolve transportation escalations and disputes from site and carriers in a timely and solution-oriented manner.Create and maintain standard operating procedures for training and scalability. Role Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in operations or transportation management. Strong leadership and team management skills.Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.Proficiency in transportation management systems (TMS) and other relevant software.Knowledge of transportation regulations and compliance requirements.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.#LI-KB2
