Reporting to Project Manager

Primary job role
You will be responsible for Healthcare solution development at client site 
Responsible for implementing software solutions for global clients and execute designs and guidelines set by the onsite and offshore architecture/ governance team.
Preparing technical designs and specifications based on business requirements whilst applying approved methodologies, processes and practices of the organization.
Key responsibilities 

• Development, design, and systems integration across multiple client engagements from definition phase through implementation
• Play stretch roles of technical leadership and be accountable for the successful implementation of client projects with the guidance of Onsite and Offshore technical experts.
• Apply the specific knowledge of industry trends and developments in order improve services to our clients
• Responsible for the technical integrity of the software components 
• Recognize system deficiencies and implements effective solutions
• Suggests alternative technical solutions to meet client requirements more efficiently and reusability
• Defines and enforces coding standards
• Work with the off-shore software development team to ensure high quality deliverables
• Work with the quality assurance team to create test plans and ensure that issues are fixed
• Teams up with the business development in pre-sales activities (writing proposals, developing price estimates etc.)
• Work with project managers/ business analysts to successfully manage client relationships
• Play stretch roles as PM, BA , QA & Implementer when necessary
• Expected to do first level support for US based customers when necessary and ensure the support transition to managed services team
• Knowledge in EMR integrations & Open MRS experience is a value addition
Technical Competencies

Knowledge in software development life cycles, user interface/interaction design
Healthcare regulatory documentation practices
Knowledge in Java or C# language 
Java - Spring MVC , JSF , Struts , Hibernate , Drools
Microsoft Technologies such as ASP.,WCF, WPF, SQL Server and SQL Reporting Services
Agile Expertise 


Educational/ Professional Qualification
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or an equivalent qualification

Work Experience
A minimum of 3 years’ experience in Healthcare Industry is a must 
Healthcare solution development experience (with specific exposure to acute care, quality and patient safety systems) is a mandatory requirement.

Additional requirements
Requires being mobile and located at different local and overseas customer locations.
As per project requirement you might be required to work in overlapping time zones.
