Job Description:

The Academic Division of General Internal Medicine, Department of Medicine, at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center is seeking a physician with a passion for urgent care to join their team! 

About the job:

Join a thriving group of 37 physicians and 17 Advanced Practice ProvidersPractice in in a unique urgent care center based out of an academic primary care practice.Treat medically complex patients with new complaints and exacerbations of chronic disease with the resources of a quaternary hospital including EPIC EMR, availability of subspecialty consultation, real-time laboratory testing and access to advanced imaging. No primary care responsibilityShift-based work with coverage on days off.Access and protected time to attend high quality weekly medicine grand rounds with CMEOpportunities for medical student and resident education if desiredNo night call and no more than 1 weekend/month

Requirements:

Board Certification or Eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family MedicineEligibility for or current licensure in MassachusettsExperience working with Advanced Practice Provider colleagues
