VCA River Road is an exclusively Urgent Care facility located in Keizer, Oregon and serves the greater central Willamette Valley. Recently remodeled, our location features an incredibly charming lobby, five exam rooms, an expansive treatment area with two wet tables, in-house lab, and additional exam table space, as well as several workstations. As a former GP facility, we also have a surgery suite, dentistry suite, digital imaging, ultrasound, surgical laser, therapeutic laser, and everything else you’ll need to provide only the highest level of patient care.
Currently, we are open 8a-6p Monday-Wednesday-Friday and this schedule would accommodate the opportunity to work a GP or ER shift at one of our sister hospitals as well if desired. Flexible scheduling, work-life balance, and mentorship set us apart from other opportunities and we’re looking for a veterinarian who values those as well. Your compassion and commitment to having access to the best facilities, equipment, and a well-trained staff have led you to the right place. We offer a generous signing bonus, relocation allowance, and a competitive salary that will get your attention.
Keizer is adjoined to Salem, Oregon’s State Capital, and both are located almost exactly between some of the most diverse areas you’ll find packed into one state. With our rugged coastline an hour to the west, winter recreation and the Cascade Mountain Range an hour to the east, and a desert ecosystem three hours to the east, the Willamette Valley is the center of outdoor adventure. Hiking and biking enthusiasts will not know where to start. Keizer and Salem are surrounded by charming small towns with rich agricultural history and just an hour south of the big city attraction of Portland.
