VCA Great Lakes Veterinary Specialists located in Warrensville, OH is seeking a friendly, energetic, confident, and compassionate Emergency/Urgent Care Veterinarian who enjoys practicing advanced medicine with a cohesive, tenured team of 11 Veterinarians and large support staff.  Your compassion and commitment to having access to the best facilities, equipment, and well-trained staff have led you to the right place.  

Our hospital features fifteen exam rooms, three surgical suites, a spacious area for procedures and treatments, a beautiful client waiting room, our own pharmacy and laboratory, and comfortable employee work and break areas. 

We are offering Full-time and Part-time opportunities. This position will include daytime/evening and some weekend Urgent Care/ER shifts with flexible scheduling and a focus on work-life balance, which sets us apart from other opportunities.  

This position allows you to practice high-quality medicine and gives you many opportunities for continued growth by working alongside our team of specialists in Internal Medicine, Ophthalmology, Dentistry, and Critical Care. Our experienced and caring staff, along with our spacious, state-of-the-art facility enables us to offer a wide range of services to the community, including ultrasound, digital radiography, CT imaging, endoscopy, and much more.  

Our Urgent Care Service provides experience in the treatment of a wide variety of ailments and builds a very solid medical foundation. 

Successful candidates must demonstrate:

Knowledge of handling both minor and complex emergency cases as well as providing excellent ongoing medical care to hospitalized intensive care, and medicine patients.A strong desire to learn.Excellent ability to work with a team, and must possess good team management skills.Compassion in the care given to patients; clients, and co-workers.
