Job Description-

Contacts patients and/or caregivers to schedule a delivery and determine supply needs; picks and packs medical supplies to fill patient orders; accurately dispenses products in the computer system to generate a delivery ticket and/or prescription labels; confirms delivery tickets after delivery. Assists the pharmacist with the preparation and dispensing of medications and supplies using appropriate techniques and following Orsini policies and procedures.

Skills-

MUST HAVE:

Active IL Pharmacy Technician Certification

Illinois Pharmacy Technician License Required and must be up to date

Min of 1-3 years pharmacy tech exp. Preferably from a specialty pharmacy

Prior authorization experience

Customer service and good phone etiquette

HS Diploma

NICE TO HAVE:

Bilingual

Work Environment-

This is a hybrid role.

M-F 9:30am-6pm

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.
