Amergis Educational Staffing is currently seeking dedicated Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) Teachers to work in Orange County schools for the remainder of the 24/25 School Year. 

Position Details:

Pay: Starting at $40+ per hour Start Date: ASAP Hours: between 8am – 3pm (35+ Hours Per Week) Location: Santa Ana, Ca (Regional DHH School) Weekly Pay Benefits – Medical/Dental/Vision Minimum Requirements: 

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university  Valid state teaching certificate as required by state regulations Knowledge in Sign Language and use of amplification devices for the deaf and hard-of-hearing Experience with deaf and hard-of-hearing students  ASL proficiency exam or Certification required  Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice Participation and completion of Amergis’ Competency program when applicable Ability to effectively elicit/provide information to and from appropriate individuals (including, but not limited to, supervisors, co-workers, clients) via strong communication skills; proficiency in the English language is required
