Amergis Educational Staffing is currently hiring School Psychologists for the 2024-2025 School Year. The School Psychologist works to support students through a variety of mental health and developmental issues and aid in qualifying students for additional support services. The School Psychologist is responsible for providing on-site psychological services to students under the jurisdiction of the state and district. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 
Completes multi-factored evaluations (initial and re-evaluations) in compliance with state regulations within a designated timeframe Conducts pre-referral consultation/intervention. Monitors student’s response to curriculum modifications Serves as an instructional intervention specialist who plans intervention and individual education Performs Psycho-educational assessments  Consults individually, or in groups, with students and/or parents or other personnel on matters relating to the education and mental health of the students to ensure the development and provision of the most appropriate education program Requirements:  Master’s degree preferred Valid California Pupil Personnel Service credential (PPS)
