Urgently Hiring- IV Pharmacy Technician

Certified Pharmacy Technician

Job Description:

Prepare IV and other pharmaceutical compounds using sterile compounding techniques.Follow all documented instructions, warnings, procedures, and best practices to ensure safe and effective drug preparation.Conduct environmental monitoring, sanitation, testing, and other activities as required by federal and state pharmacy regulations and USP-797 standards.Maintain accurate drug inventory through purchasing, receiving, stocking, pulling, counting, and tracking drug items according to established policies and procedures.Enter home medication lists and lab results into CPR+ for patient profiles (when available).Clean the ante-room and clean room in compliance with USP-797 standards and maintain clean room logs.Verify lot numbers and perform periodic inventory checks.Assist with on-call responsibilities as needed.Complete a competency verification plan upon hire and annually thereafter.Maintain confidentiality of company proprietary information and patient/client care information, complying with all federal and state laws regarding the confidentiality of protected health information (PHI) and electronic protected health information (EPHI), and follow HIPAA guidelines.

Shift:

Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pmOn-call every third weekend

Qualifications:

Certified Pharmacy Technician (PTCB/CPHT) required1+ years of IV/compounding experience1+ years of experience working in a clean room or sterile environmentHome infusion therapy experience preferred, but not required

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $29.00/hr.
