Job Description
We are looking for a professional, friendly, and highly-motivated individual to be a part of our surgical team. The ideal candidate is someone with exceptional customer service and organizational skills, has the ability to anticipate surgical needs, and aids the team in preparing the operating room for daily procedures. This person should have the mindset that no task is too big or too small. Day to day, this person will be responsible for assisting in the preparation, maintenance, and inventory of the operating room, ensuring that patient safety is the number one priority. We seek someone who is ambitious, eager to grow within the company, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
ResponsibilitiesUnder supervision of RN, assists in the daily operations of the surgical suite.Verifies with a nurse that pre-operative checklist is complete.Conducts all preparation, sterilization, maintenance, and stocking of operating room supplies.Assists RN in preparation of instruments, supplies, and other necessary tasks to prepare the operating room.Assists in the proper cleaning of the operating room.Responsible for the day-to-day assurance of sterile and non-sterile instruments and equipment.Assists in ensuring proper storage and handling of instruments and equipment.Assists in operating and ensuring maintenance of on-site sterilization of instruments and equipment.Participates in the orientation of new operating room employees.Ensures the operating rooms are fully stocked and that expiration dates of supplies have been checked.Maintains clear communication with management about operations.Works alongside owners, advisors, injectors, and team to build an exceptional client experience.Essential Skills1+ years of clinical experience, with a concentration in plastic and reconstructive surgery preferred.Fully certified Surgical Technician.BLS certified.Strong communication skills.Able to adhere to protocols and policies.Teamwork-oriented mindset with a 'can do' attitude.Flexibility, dependability, punctuality, and the ability to show empathy.Additional Skills & QualificationsParticipates in continuing education and team meetings.Eager to grow within the company.Work Environment
This is a full-time position, 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday. Compensation will commensurate with experience, along with other perks that make this a unique opportunity for the right person.
Hours
Range from either 9:00am- 7:00pm OR 10:00am- 8:00pm 4 days a week, but needs to be flexible from Monday-FridayPay

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $36.06 - $43.27/hr.
