**Job Description**
**The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Mount Sinai South Nassau is seeking a full-time Urogynecologist to join its team on Long Island, New York!**
The Department consists of over 40 full-time and voluntary board-certified physicians providing care to the diverse community. As a member of the of the MSHS and the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, we are able to offer the professional benefits of a major academic/research medical center. With over 2400 deliveries per year, the Department supports 16 residents in a four-year residency program and an active teaching program for third-year medical students. All OB/GYN sub-specialties are represented in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
We are seeking Board Certified/Board Eligible Physicians in Obstetrics & Gynecology and Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery who can provide consistent, compassionate, high-quality, safe and patient-centric care, personalized to each patient. The successful candidate will possess clinical abilities as demonstrated through training, education, certification and experience, strong interpersonal communication, leadership and organizational skills, embrace the teaching mission of the MSSN. The candidate must have or be able to obtain a valid New York State Medical License.

**Qualifications**
1. Medical Degree from an accredited program
2. New York Medical License/Active NYS DEA
3. Board Certified/Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology and Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery
4. Successfully completion of a Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery fellowship
5. Excellent communication, bedside manner, and organizational skills
6. A strong work ethic and desire to participate in a team-oriented, performance-driven environment
7. Respectfully collaborate and build relationships with a diverse set of teammates
8. Thrive in a constantly evolving environment, challenging the status quo and striving to innovate and improve care delivery
Compensation range from 230K to 400K (not including bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits)

Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialties, historical productivity, historical collections, and hospital/community need. As such, an actual salary may fall closer to one or the other end of the range, and in certain circumstances, may wind up being outside of the listed salary range. The salary range listed is for full-time employment and does not include bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits.

**Responsibilities**
1. Teach medical students and residents by lecture, rounds, and clinical activity in the office and operating room
2. Provide Urogynocology care, including ambulatory care and surgery in the hospital
3. General administration duties that include documenting and reviewing patient chart
4. Responsible for teaching, research, service, and related administrative activities. Responsible for academic advising and related activities.
5. Significant involvement in the training of Urogynecology fellows and research. The department has 3 residents per year, 12 total, approved for 16 total
