Urology Advanced Practice Provider

Job Description:

This position is accountable for the provision of patient care and other activities as permitted by licensure and defined within Credentialing and Privileging documentation (hospital), Credentialing and Scope of Practice (Medical Group), Delegation of Services Agreement (DOPL) or other similar documentation as appropriate. As part of that patient care, this position is accountable to: deliver optimal patient care through effective clinical practice; education of the patient, patient's family, clinical staff, and others; consultation with other healthcare providers; and maintain current knowledge regarding options for optimal patient care and outcomes.

About this role: 


As a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Urology you will work with a team of healthcare professionals made up of 5 MDs and 3 other APPs who are committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience.  In this role you will round each morning before clinic at either American Fork Hospital or Utah Valley Hospital and work a combination in the clinic and in the OR.
•    This position includes up to $7,500 in relocation assistance when applicable
•    You will work up to 14-22 new and follow up patient appointments, providing Urodynamic testing, scopes  and void trials
•    Your hours will be Monday through Friday, with a 60/40 Clinic: OR schedule 
•    Call is 1:4

What you’ll bring: 


•    APRN or PA-C degree from an accredited program 
•    Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one 
•    Prior Urology experience as an APP or (2) years of APP experience in a Surgical environment, strongly preferred
•    First Assist or willingness to obtain, required
•    BLS certification and DEA , required
•    Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process 
•    We are not able to accept candidates requiring Visa sponsorship at this time

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience. 

$54.84 - $84.63
