Urology Physician Assistant
**Employment Type:** Full time **Shift:** **Description:** **Holy Cross Medical Group** is seeking to recruit a Physician Assistant to join our Urology practice located in Fort Lauderdale, FL. This position involves working with the urologists in the outpatient clinic, the hospital, and the operating room. The patient population includes male and female adults of all ages. The practice specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of problems of the male and female urinary tract and the male reproductive organs. Our urologists offer a full range of urological services in both the office and hospital settings. The position is salaried, full-time Monday-Friday, day shift. Position responsibilities include: + Seeing patients on their own templated schedule in the office that may include but are not limited to: + Preoperative teaching for surgical patients undergoing surgery. + Postoperative care of surgical patients in the outpatient setting + Routine urology follow-ups + Minor procedures + Hospital Rounding + Surgical assisting in the operating room **REQUIREMENTS** Applicants should have the following: + Interest and desire to work in a high-volume urology program. + Experience or clinical rotation in urology preferred. + FL licensure + DEA license + Board Certified or Board Eligible This is an exciting opportunity for the right person to grow their surgical skills and work with a Supervising Physician willing to teach.
