Amazon is seeking a Specialist to join our Benefits Operations Services Team. This role will work on specific compliance, policy related and benefits programs. They would be an integral part of the US Benefits Operations Team that bridges operational as well as work with technical partners on daily cyclical events, annual launches and program developments. As an individual contributor, strong analytical and project management skills are critical to this role. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently, but know when to pull in senior leadership, be an effective communicator, problem solver, have a desire to participate in change, and appreciate a dynamic environment with rapidly changing priorities. We are seeking someone who has worked within Human Resources and Benefits with a concentrated focus on compliance, policy management and be comfortable with data.

Key job responsibilities
- Data Analysis: Be comfortable in performing analysis on large amounts of reporting and data and interpret back to stakeholder team. (30% of role)
- Compliance Administration: Support Sr Benefits Compliance Specialist with monthly, quarterly and annual processes and reporting requirements. This may encompass creating, automating reporting and interpreting data. Collaborate with internal departments to resolve compliance issues and implement corrective actions. Maintain comprehensive documentation of compliance activities. (50% of role)
- Project Management: Support when needed with program management activities for concurrent and complex benefit program launches or changes by translating business needs into project plans. Assist with troubleshooting and bring issues to resolution. (10% of role)
- Continuous Improvement: Define and monitor benefits administration critical to quality (CTQs) metrics, perform root cause analysis on defects and implement remediation; own continuous improvement strategy. (10% of role)
