Commercial Sales & ServiceSupports ongoing maintenance of customer accounts and payment billing systems. Ensures payments through variety of sources are recognized and posted against the correct account and invoice. Identifies unpaid invoices and implement automatic debits or initiate collection activities as appropriate. Balances, maintains and reconciles accounts. Manages the set-up of special pricing arrangements to include bundles, consolidations and discrete pricing arrangements, ensuring negotiated amount is accurately reflected in the billing systems.
Conducts writing-off activities for uncollected invoices as per Bank's policy.Negotiates and facilitates effective and fair resolutions balancing the objectives of the Bank with the needs of the customer.Performs quality reviews of invoices to confirm compliance and identifies training gaps or supplier management issues.uploads data feeds from all sources.Verifies authorization of refund and reversal requests.Performs necessary system updates to create statements.Balances, maintains and reconciles the Billing bank, GL and suspense accountsProcesses all manually generated invoices and creates accounting entries.Provides timely and accurate processing of daily financial transactions.Researches and investigates billing anomalies/variances for products and customers to determine cause and make recommendations for resolution.Establishes and maintains relationships to understand normal transaction patterns, systems operations and other factors that may impact invoice processing.Executes routine tasks such as service requests, transactions, queries etc. within relevant service level agreements.Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders in order to deliver on business objectives.Resolves processing issues in accordance with policies & procedures and service level expectations.Supports the safekeeping department financial documents.Analyzes data and information to provide insights and recommendations.Completes complex & diverse tasks within given rules/limits and may include handling escalations from other employees.Analyzes issues and determines next steps.Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed.Qualifications:
Typically between 2 - 3 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study desirable or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Excel skills preferred: familiarity with formulas and functions such as pivot tables, XLOOKUP, formatting, data analysis, and the ability to review and extract complex data.SAP S4 Hana general ledger review and entry experience would be an asset but not required.Specialized knowledge.Verbal & written communication skills - Good.Organization skills - Good.Collaboration & team skills - Good.Analytical and problem solving skills - Good.Salary:
$41,715.00 - $63,700.00Pay Type:

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.
