Role Overview:
In this role, you’ll be responsible for performing brazing, heating, and processing tasks on mechanical components, ensuring they meet strict quality standards. You will also be in charge of identifying parts for replacement, maintaining machinery, and ensuring all equipment runs smoothly and safely.
Key Responsibilities: Brazing & Heating: Perform brazing and heating tasks to join mechanical components, ensuring they meet high-quality standards and specifications. Maintenance & Testing: Conduct routine maintenance on machinery, ensuring proper functionality and safety through regular testing. Part Identification & Ordering: Identify components that need replacing due to wear and damage, and place orders for new parts to maintain operational efficiency. Training & Development: Although a high school diploma is preferred, training in brazing, heating, or a related field is beneficial. A willingness to learn and develop in the field is essential. Supervision & Reporting: Work under immediate supervision and report directly to a manager or supervisor, following pre-established guidelines for all tasks. Special Considerations: Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 30 lbs or more regularly. Exposure Risks: Moderate exposure to machinery, chemicals, biological agents, and physical risks. Equipment Operation: Ability to operate powered industrial trucks (at least industrial level; potentially heavy machinery). Qualifications: Experience: 0-2 years of experience in brazing, heating, or related fields. Knowledge: Familiarity with brazing and heating concepts, practices, and procedures. Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Completion of an apprenticeship or formal training in a related field is advantageous. Other Requirements: Steel-toed footwear is required, and all overtime must be pre-approved by the supervisor. Why Join Us? Pay Details: $24.25 per hour
