A driver helper supports route drivers to deliver products and/or equipment to customers. May be required to driver their own vehicle following the route driver to designated locations. This position is labor intensive and requires working both inside and outside exposing you to the elements of weather. Appropriate attire is required, as you will interacting with customer and consumers.
PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Unload and load product from truck at customer locations
Install vendors and load/reload with products as necessary
Repair and perform preventative maintenance on vending/fountain equipment as needed
Collect accurate and complete equipment information
Maintain parts, tools, and equipment
Complete required paperwork and maintain accurate customer/work order records for each delivery
Transport miscellaneous items such as compressors for repair/scrap, cardboard for recycle, etc.
Fill install and adjust to proper mix of product
Establish positive customer relationships
Regular, reliable, predictable attendance?????? HELPFUL EXPERIENCE:
Generating and setting work schedules (e.g., determining the priority of work projects, building work schedules, scheduling tasks during the day, etc.) Serving customers (e.g., resolving customer issues, ensuring appropriate communication with store managers, following up on customer requests, etc.)
Completing basic paperwork (e.g., filling out paperwork, completing documentation to turn in to supervisor, filling out timecards mileage, etc.)?? Requirements:
PPE – must wear steal toe boots
Must have current class driver’s license
Previous driving experience delivering food and beverage products is preferred
Previous merchandising products preferred (e.g., filling shelves, building displays, making products look attractive on shelves, rotating product, cleaning shelves, or eliminating out of stocks and out of date products, etc.)
Operating equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks, breakdowns, etc.) **Work Hours** Mon-Fri 7am-5pm **PPE and Dress Code** Light Industrial Roles: Casual but appropriate wear; steel toe shoes or boots
are always required. No false eyelashes or nails, no jewelry. No clothing with rips,
tears, or holes.? **Resume Requirements** Resume must be clean format: no contact information, no agency information **Education Requirements** High school diploma or GED required, must be listed on all resumes. **Assessment Requirements** N/A **Background Exceptions** By default, we require an approved drug test and background screenings. PBC locations are allowed to start with backgrounds (not drug test) pending, per contract. Exceptions for other locations are possible but are specific to their job posting and MUST be received and submitted prior to start.
**Pay Details:** $22.00 per hour
