**Job Description**
This customer-facing, HP PC/Printer field break/fix position provides a wide range of hardware support and related services specifically to HP PC Products customers. Products include Laptop, Desktop, RPOS, and Workstation products. Printer knowledge is a huge plus. A fast-paced, constantly changing environment that requires positive approaches and demonstrated success at handling multiple stressors. Candidates must be self-contained, resourceful, and determined for success.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Hardware Support: Configure, install, and repair hardware; troubleshoot mechanical and technical issues on HP products and potentially third-party software and networks.
+ Customer Interaction: Manage service events on customer sites, maintain customer satisfaction, and communicate effectively with HP and customer management teams.
+ Business Impact: Understand and manage the financial and business implications of service delivery, balancing customer needs with HP's contractual commitments.
**Required Skills and Competencies:**
+ Mechanical Aptitude: Proficiency in using tools and alignment apparatus; ability to troubleshoot hardware issues.
+ Customer Service: Strong interpersonal skills, with a focus on relationship building and managing customer expectations.
+ Technical Knowledge: Experience with hardware repair, a good understanding of technology solutions, and the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
+ Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and operational challenges effectively.
+ Physical and Work Requirements:
+ Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, bend, crawl, and work in various physical conditions.
+ Flexibility to work overtime, including during non-traditional hours, holidays, and shifts.
+ Business professional attire required: black slacks and a blue collared shirt.
**Additional Information:**
+ Equipment Provided: Cell phone reimbursement, laptop/tablet.
+ Background Checks: Comprehensive checks will be performed, including employment history, education, drug testing, credit, and sex offender registries.
+ Education: High School diploma or equivalent required; additional hardware technology training preferred; college education is a plus.
