**Position: Field Technical Support** **Location: New Jersey, NJ** **Duration :24+ months** **Pay Rate: $28/hr on W2** **We are looking for a** **Field Technical Support** **to join one of our Fortune 500 clients.** **Job Summary** The **Field Service Technician** provides on-site hardware support and repair services for HP PC and Printer products, including laptops, desktops, RPOS, and workstations. The role involves a dynamic, fast-paced environment that requires technical troubleshooting, customer engagement, and the ability to manage multiple tasks independently. **Key Responsibilities** + Configure, install, and repair hardware, software, and simple network components. + Perform on-site hardware repairs, including diagnosing and resolving PC and printer issues. + Collaborate with escalation teams to implement technical action plans. + Maintain strong customer relationships through effective communication and service delivery. + Educate customers on technology and provide solutions to meet their business needs. + Manage service events efficiently, adhering to budget and business objectives. + Ensure accurate documentation and administrative task completion. + Prioritize and adapt tasks based on changing customer and business requirements. **Core Competencies** + Mechanical aptitude and experience with tools and alignment apparatus. + Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and network-related issues. + Excellent interpersonal communication skills, particularly in customer-facing scenarios. + Ability to independently prioritize and manage multiple tasks. + Solid business decision-making skills and risk assessment. + Commitment to administrative responsibilities and attention to detail. **Requirements** + High School diploma or equivalent (College preferred) plus hardware technology training. + On-site customer-facing experience. + Technical/mechanical hardware repair experience. + Ability to bend, crawl, stoop, lift, and move up to 50 pounds. + Availability for scheduled and unscheduled overtime, including holidays and shifts. + Demonstrated aptitude for learning new technology. **We are looking for the candidate who are eligible to work with any employers without sponsorship** .
