**Job Title:** **Financial Analyst I**
**Location:** **100 Connell Drive Berkeley Heights Township NJ 07922 United States**
**Pay Rate: $18.75/hr on W2**
**Duration: 8 months of contract on w2**
**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a **Financial Analyst** to partner with our business units and support strategic capital initiatives, ensuring operational alignment and maximizing return on investment. This role involves financial data gathering, analysis, and reporting to influence business decisions and drive cross-functional initiatives. The Financial Analyst will support forecasting processes, uphold compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), and ensure accurate representation of financial results both internally and externally.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Gather and analyze financial data, including profit and loss, balance sheet, cash flow, and pricing.
+ Prepare financial reports to influence decision-making and support business strategies.
+ Drive weekly, monthly, and long-term forecasting processes by analyzing business trends.
+ Ensure alignment of forecasts with business and corporate-wide objectives.
+ Partner with business units to ensure capital strategies are operationally supported and aligned with corporate goals.
+ Drive cross-business initiatives such as mergers and acquisitions by providing actionable financial insights.
+ Communicate and enforce adherence to GAAP and corporate financial policies.
+ Represent financial results accurately, maintaining fiduciary responsibility internally and externally.
+ Establish and ensure strong business controls to safeguard financial data integrity.
**Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
+ Entry-level or up to 2 years of relevant experience in financial analysis or a related role.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
+ Proficiency in financial tools and software.
+ Ability to understand and apply financial principles, theories, and concepts.
+ Knowledge of GAAP is preferred.
