US Indirect Tax Manager
**Summary:** Meta is seeking a seasoned professional to join its US Indirect Tax team. You will have a proven record of success with comprehensive US indirect tax technical experience. You will partner with members of accounting and other finance functions, as well as a broad range of cross-functional business teams to surface tax issues, solve problems, and recommend solutions while performing key responsibilities. **Required Skills:** US Indirect Tax Manager Responsibilities: 1. Manage external service providers on sales/use tax compliance to ensure timely accurate reporting and remittance 2. Perform sales/use tax accounts review and reconciliation, working closely with Treasury, AP, and GL teams 3. Manage sales/use tax audits and protests 4. Research and analyze sales/use tax issues, including assessing impact of new legislations and incorporating tax law changes into tax engine 5. Assist with tax system implementations and automations to drive efficiency 6. Work with cross-functional teams to identify, evaluate and resolve sales/use tax issues **Minimum Qualifications:** Minimum Qualifications: 7. 8+ years of state and local tax experience in Big 4, Government, and/or US multinational company with a focus in sales/use taxes 8. Bachelor’s degree in Tax, Accounting or related field 9. Technical proficiency in sales/use taxes 10. Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills 11. Demonstrated expertise in communicating intricate ideas in a straightforward and concise way, considering multiple perspectives and needs 12. Experience effectively managing external service providers **Preferred Qualifications:** Preferred Qualifications: 13. Graduate degree with emphasis in Tax 14. Prior experience handling sales/use tax matters for technology companies 15. Experience with Vertex, RIA Checkpoint, technology tools such as Alteryx and RPA 16.
