As an Upstream Chemicals Area Sales Manager, you'll be involved in planning and development for the overall sales strategy of your team. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for: 

Develop and execute national sales strategies to meet business objectivesIdentify market opportunities, threats, and trendsPersonally leading large bid and tender opportunities with Supermajor and IOCsLead, manage and coach a team of 7+ sales professionals to achieve sales goalsConduct performance evaluations and talent management activitiesBuild and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholdersIdentify and develop new business opportunitiesProvide exceptional customer service and supportStay up to date on industry trends, technologies, and market dynamicsAttend conferences, seminars, and trade shows to network and stay connected with industry professionalsShare knowledge and insights with the sales team to improve sales performanceOversee sales operations, including sales planning, forecasting, and reportingEnsure compliance with company policies and procedures

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

Have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from an accredited university or college.6-10 years of experience in Field Sales, Corporate Sales or Sales leadership, preferably in the Upstream Chemicals segment.2+ years of experience with securing and defending large oilfield services contracts5+ years of experience in the Oil & Gas Industry or Industrial ProcessProven track record of success in managing high-performing sales teams and driving sales growth.2+ years in a people leader roleStrong business acumen and understanding of sales metrics, forecasting, and budgeting.Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and stakeholders.Collaborative, innovative, and customer-focused mindset.Ability to travel up to 30%
