Job Description
The Manufacturing Engineer is a part of a cross-functional, goal-oriented production team. In this role, you will secure assembly processes and performance while implementing Continuous Improvement initiatives in your area of responsibility.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop assembly processes with the goal of meeting manufacturing targets using Lean Manufacturing principles.Ensure safety, quality, delivery, and cost efficiency of the production process as well as projects.Create and maintain work instructions, determine appropriate manpower levels, and provide line support and service to production.Industrialize new product and process changes according to project gate plan deliverables with a zero disturbance mindset.Determine assembly sequence, time standards, line balancing, station design, and tooling requirements.Essential SkillsBachelor of Science degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in a technical manufacturing role.0-2 years of experience in Manufacturing.Knowledge of engineering concepts, manufacturing the product, production standards, and efficiency optimization tools.
Additional Skills & QualificationsStrong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to manage change.Ability to react to issues impacting production with a sense of urgency, promptly assessing the issue, developing a feasible action plan, and following it through to successful completion.Experience in a team-based environment.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $32.00
