US Project Management Account Lead

JLL is seeking a Project Management Director to serve as the US/Global project management account leader for a dedicated account team managing a large portfolio on behalf of a key strategic client.  The Project Director will lead a team responsible for planning and executing a variety of project types including but not limited to the following: interior fit-outs, facility-related capital improvements, site improvements, and new complex ground-up construction projects. A successful Project Director will exhibit the below critical traits:

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

10+ years of direct experience as a real estate project management leaderProactive thinker and leaderExperience leading others within a corporate environmentPassion for simplifying complex situations/data, and ability to convey a streamlined and convincing recommendation to the clientStrong working knowledge of architectural drawings and construction methodsHighly organized with strong analytical skillsStrong interpersonal skills; ability to interact with executive-level external and internal clients, as well as external team members (architects, contractors, client’s representatives, etc.)Ability to manage all aspects of construction projects effectively and efficiently including, but not limited to budgeting, scheduling, submittals, and change ordersPrevious experience effectively supervising, training, mentoring and evaluating talent at various levels within the organization or teamAbility to develop and cultivate business relationships with existing and prospective clientsWorking knowledge of accounting and financial reporting, budgeting, & scheduling as they relate to corporate real estateAbility to lead individuals across a national platform to deliver superior results in client serviceExperience working with landlords and 3rd party developersWorking understanding of capital plan creation and managementTravel expectations:  20% to 40%

Education Requirements:

Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution, preferably in Architecture, Engineering or Construction Management.  Advanced degrees appreciated. 

Estimated total compensation for this position:

150,000.00 – 250,000.00 USD per year

The total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data .
