US Reach Coordinator
**Job Overview:** As a US REACH Coordinator (Deployment), you will be responsible for recruiting, developing, and managing new and existing REACH Volunteers on behalf of the client. Working closely with the Volunteers Team, you will support the REACH Manager in strategically leading and coordinating international deployments. Your goal is to ensure that all opportunities for raising funds for the client are maximized and maintained at agreed levels of return on investment, while developing innovative deployment opportunities to build awareness of Human Appeal projects and increase income generation. This role is critical to securing the long-term financial sustainability and growth of the charity, in line with the fundraising strategy. **Location:** Remote **Salary:** $70,000 **Key Responsibilities:** + **Volunteer Coordination:** Recruit, develop, and manage a network of national volunteers, including corporate challenge event teams, in collaboration with the Volunteers Coordinator. + **Fundraising Guidance:** Provide guidance to all REACH volunteers and ensure they receive mandatory safeguarding training. + **Strategy Implementation:** Contribute to and implement the annual fundraising strategy for the partnerships team. + **Database Growth:** Collaborate with the Volunteers Department to increase and grow the volunteer database. + **Deployment Management:** Ensure deployments are well-supported, effectively run, and compliant with Health & Safety standards, customer satisfaction, complaints management, and Fundraising Regulators code of conduct. + **Policy Adherence:** Adhere to all charity policies, including the fundraising code of conduct, Health & Safety at Work, Freedom of Information Act, Data Protection Act, Equal Opportunities, Company Handbook, Quality Management System, and Investor in People. + **Professional Development:** Demonstrate ongoing professional development through reflective practice and participation in development opportunities. + **Support and Supervision:** Manage, supervise, and support volunteers and interns, and provide assistance to fundraising colleagues when necessary. + **Development Plan Contribution:** Assist in the development, maintenance, and delivery of Human Appeal’s deployment plan. + **Operational Support:** Provide support during peak periods, promote information sharing, generate leads, innovative ideas, and ensure smooth running of FR operations and good working relations. **Qualifications:** + **Education:** High School Diploma or equivalent required. + **Experience:** Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, such as Fundraising or Volunteer Management. + **Technical Skills:** Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with Salesforce is a plus. **Job Requirements/Skills:** + **Volunteer Management:** Recruit, develop, and manage volunteers; support volunteer recruitment processes; provide feedback and training. + **Compliance:** Adhere to all relevant policies and procedures. + **Professional Development:** Engage in continued professional development. + **Team Collaboration:** Work collaboratively with fundraising colleagues and support the FR operations. + **Communication:** Establish clear lines of communication with volunteers and other stakeholders. **Physical Requirements:** + **Visual Acuity:** Ability to use a keyboard and view a computer terminal. + **Coordination:** Good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand, and finger dexterity. + **Mobility:** Ability to visit various locations and stand/walk as needed. + **Lifting Ability:** Occasionally lift, carry, and move light to medium weight (up to 12 pounds).
