**Title: Mechanical/Thermal Test Engineer** **Location: Fort Collins CO (Onsite)** **Duration: 12 months** **Pay Range : $45/hr to $50/hr (On W2)** We are looking for a “ **Mechanical/Thermal Test Engineer** “to join one of our Fortune 500 clients. **Job Summary:** Applies advanced subject matter knowledge to solve complex business issues and is regarded as a subject matter expert. Frequently contributes to the development of new ideas and methods. Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors. Leads and/or provides expertise to functional project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives. Acts as an expert providing direction and guidance to process improvements and establishing policies. Frequently represents the organization to external customers/clients. Exercises significant independent judgment within broadly defined policies and practices to determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives. May provide mentoring and guidance to lower level employees. **Job Responsibilities:** + Designs portions of engineering solutions to test and evaluate systems, equipment, and devices based on established engineering principles and in accordance with provided specifications and requirements. + Develops and implements test plans, schedules, and requirements for subsystems of new and existing designs; builds testing tooling, fixtures, scripts, automation, and apparatuses based on provided specifications. + Collaborates and communicates with internal and outsourced testing and development partners. + Participates as a member of project team of other test engineers and internal and outsourced testing partners to develop and execute reliable, cost effective and high quality test solutions for low to moderately-complex products. + Leads multiple project teams of other test engineers and internal and outsourced test partners responsible for all stages of systems, equipment, and device testing, including solution and test plan design, validation, tooling, test execution and results evaluation. + Manages and expands relationships with internal and outsourced partners for systems, equipment, and device testing. + Reviews and evaluates product designs and project activities for compliance with technology and testing guidelines and standards; provides tangible feedback based on results to improve product quality and mitigate risk of product failure. + Provides domain-specific expertise and overall test engineering leadership and perspective to cross- organization projects, programs, and activities. + Drives innovation and integration of new technologies into projects and activities in the test engineering organization. + Provides guidance and mentoring to less- experienced staff members. **Education & Qualifications:** + Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Thermal Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or equivalent. + Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent. + Typically 6-10 years experience. + Extensive experience with testing tools, automation, and software packages. + Conducting reviews of material specifications and hardware and electrical component design. + Evaluating forms of empirical analysis, modeling and testing methodologies to validate product designs and specifications. + Ability to effectively communicate testing architectures, plans, proposals, and results, and negotiate options at senior management levels. + Using testing tools and software packages to automate test processes. + Understanding of material properties and hardware and electrical component design. + Using empirical analysis, modeling and testing methodologies to validate product designs and specifications. + Strong written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language. **Preferred Qualifications / Skills:** + Desirable: Experience working with large format displays and videoconferencing equipment **We are looking for the candidate who are eligible to work with any employers without sponsorship** .
