Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

Job Summary:

As Logistics Manager you will provide direct management and oversight of Manufacturing Freight group at several KLA manufacturing sites US wide where we craft, manufacture and test semiconductor products for external and internal customers. In this role, you will work with Freight Forwarding and 3rd Party Logistics Providers to ensure operational performance and overall adherence to contractual SLAs collaborating and providing service to internal cross disciplinary team members including operational, engineering, compliance, service and financial functions globally. Areas of oversight responsibility will include but not limited to: transportation and freight management, trade compliance, metrics and financial reporting. This role will serve as KLA main point of contact for issue resolution of any non-conformances that arise from the operation.

Additionally, you will help drive and implement tools and reporting metrics to enable Global Logistics operate the business, fully understanding the efficiencies, and cost drivers that enable us improve customer happiness and value! You will continually review operational capacities against growth forecasts and collectively drive sufficient scalability within the operation.

Job Duties:US centric and Global Transportation Management of company Raw Materials, Finished Goods and Engineering materials to support build and sales plans along with service dedication to KLA customers.Strategic Planning of group functioning in conjunction with company to assure effective transportation solutions supporting organization revenue plans.Ensuring Raw Material Importation process compliance with Customs regulations and organization SOP focusing on OTD and data distribution to internal interpersonal customers.Lead outbound transportation of tools and accessories based on efficient solutions, OTD and assuring complete support of revenue recognition.Ongoing partnership with planning, procurement and manufacturing functions in Global Operations Unit along with cross disciplinary alignment with financial, compliance, engineering and business units executives.Maintenance of periodical working routines and Task Force initiatives to promote uninterrupted material flow to production floors.Management of the freight team assuring operational performance meets/ exceeds encouraged throughput and compliance targets.Develop standard methodologies to drive operational consistency, standardization, and value to the business. Support existing SOP and continuously drive process standardization and improvement.Compliance with SOX procedures and ongoing periodical audit.Requirements:Prior experience in Logistics Distribution and Transport operations: Freight, Trade Compliance, Customs Brokerage, Global and Local regulations.5-7 years of consistent group managementStrong analytical and financial leadership skills.Excellent interpersonal skills and wide strategic vision.Strategic approach and autodidactic capabilities. Profound processes understanding and process structuring skills.Experience in project management, budget and predictive cost analytics.Consistent track record of surpassing objectives and delivering exceptional results.Analytical/problem solving skills and solutions orientation.Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with contents presentation skillsSophisticated data analysis at high accuracy level.Content presentation skills to various levels of audiences including executives.Validated experience leading multiple projects.Knowledge of logistics related business systems.Proficiency in SAP - advantageExperience in global companies and multi-cultural environments

Minimum Qualifications

10+ years of experience in Logistics, Transportation, and /or Freight Forwarding5+ years of management experienceBachelor of Arts or Sciences Degree, or equivalent experience in Logistics environment.
