Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time field associates at Walmart and Sam's Club. Essential Functions:

All primary responsibilities will be assisted or performed under the direct supervision of an experienced technicianMaintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets by utilizing multiple craft skills (for example, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling equipment, and food equipment) and using hand tools, power tools, and other equipment to complete jobsUtilize the work order management system to receive reactive repair Work Orders to support Stores and Store associates and document repair activitiesProvide prompt response to emergency maintenance callsInspecting, operating, or testing facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issuesComplete all required training requirements to operate equipment and tools safely

Position Requirements:

18 years or olderHigh School Diploma or equivalentCan lift up to 50 lbs. at a timeCan move up and down ladders frequentlyComfortable working at heights frequentlyAbility to sit or stand for long periodsAble to work in various temperaturesMust maintain an excellent driving record

The hourly wage range for this position is $18.00-$31.00*

*The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.

Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
